The expert review meeting for the group standard "Internal Composite Stainless Steel Socket Flexible Interface Composite Steel Pipe" of China Steel Structure Association was successfully held

On the morning of August 27, 2024, the expert review meeting for the group standard "Internal Composite Stainless Steel Socket Flexible Interface Composite Steel Pipe" of the China Steel Structure Association was successfully held at the Tianjin Social Mountain International Conference Center Hotel. The company's General Manager Zhou Weifeng and Deputy General Manager Li Hongyong attended the meeting.

In order to further promote and standardize the application of composite steel pipes with internal stainless steel sockets and flexible interfaces, Youfa Pipeline, as one of the standard drafters, has formulated the group standard "Internal Stainless Steel Socket Flexible Interface Composite Steel Pipe" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard"). Experts and scholars from all over the country gathered together to discuss and review the group standards of the 'Standards'. Intended to ensure the scientific, normative, and practical nature of standards.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Weifeng, General Manager of Jiangsu Xinpeng Composite Materials Co., Ltd., and Su Jiuchuan, General Manager of Tianjin Youfa Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd., delivered welcoming speeches successively. In his speech, General Manager Su Jiuchuan emphasized the importance of developing group standards and introduced the research and production experience of Tianjin Youfa Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. in this field.

Subsequently, the editor in chief Qian Lezhong reported on the status of the standard preparation work. The members of the review committee listened to the report of the "Standard" preparation team on the preparation process, main technical content, and feedback soliciting situation. They reviewed the content of the "Standard" (draft for review) item by item and conducted in-depth discussions and research. Combining with the current production and development requirements of composite steel pipes with internal stainless steel socket flexible interfaces, and referring to and drawing on relevant standards in Europe, America and other countries, valuable opinions and suggestions were put forward from multiple aspects such as material selection, production technology, quality control, and testing methods. The "Standard" (draft for review) was revised and improved. This standard is more scientific, progressiveness and innovative, reaching the international advanced level.

Comrades of the review committee unanimously believe that standards should fully consider the practical application needs of products, ensure their safety and reliability, and also have a certain degree of foresight to guide industry technological progress.

At the end of the meeting, the comrades of the review committee unanimously agreed to pass the review of the "Standard" (draft for review). It is suggested that the preparation team further revise and improve the submitted manuscript according to the opinions and suggestions of the review meeting, and form an approval draft as soon as possible to be submitted to the China Steel Structure Association for approval. The development of the group standard for this "Standard" (under review) will be of great significance in regulating the market, improving product quality, and promoting industry development.

The efficient operation of the automation equipment on the production line ensured the high quality and consistency of the products.
